I'm building TheatreCMS with real performing arts organizations, not in isolation. The 90-day partnership is how I get feedback from organizations actually using the platform—feedback I need to make it better.

- I handle all technical maintenance — Updates, security, backups, hosting. You focus on content, not infrastructure.
- You use a CMS designed for your workflow — Seasons, productions, works, performers, venues are built in. You're not adapting your thinking to the tool.
- You give me honest feedback — Does the content model work for you? What's missing? What's confusing? Real feedback from organizations actually using it. This is what I need to make it better.
- At 90 days, we both assess — Does this actually work for your organization? Are you getting value? Then we decide together: keep going with a real arrangement, or go back to WordPress as it was. No lock-in. No risk to you.
No long-term commitment. No cost during the partnership.
This isn't a product trial. It's a real partnership. I'm building TheatreCMS specifically for performing arts organizations, and I need feedback from actual organizations using it. Timeline
Weeks 1-2: Setup & content migration
I get WordPress admin access, export your content, set up hosting. One kickoff call with you and your team. We make sure nothing gets lost. Training video for your staff.
Weeks 2-3: Custom theme development
I build a theme that matches your current design exactly. Your visitors see zero visual difference. But behind the scenes, the CMS is built for how you work.
Weeks 3-5: Testing & refinement
You test with your team. We find issues and fix them. Browser testing, mobile testing, real workflows. Your WordPress backup stays ready in case we need it.
Week 5: Launch
You go live on TheatreCMS. I stay available for questions. Your WordPress site is archived as a backup—you have it forever.
Weeks 6-12: Ongoing partnership
You use TheatreCMS like normal. I handle maintenance. You give me feedback regularly. At day 90, we decide what's next.
What happens at 90 days?
We both step back and honestly assess:
- Is TheatreCMS solving the problem I built it for?
- Are you getting real value from not having to manage WordPress?
- Is the CMS easy enough to use without constant hand-holding?
- Did I learn what I needed to learn from your feedback?
Then you decide: Keep going with a real arrangement (we talk terms), or go back to WordPress as it was. Simple.
FAQ
No. I migrate everything—pages, posts, images, all of it. Nothing gets lost. And if after 90 days you decide it's not working, we can go back to your WordPress site as it was. You keep your WordPress login and backups.
Yes. You probably use Eventbrite, Showare, or Ticketmaster already. TheatreCMS doesn't replace that. It integrates with it. Your ticketing stays exactly as it is now. TheatreCMS just handles the website content—seasons, productions, cast info, event pages. You sell tickets through your current system.
During migration (weeks 1-3)? Minimal. One kickoff call, give me admin access, your team learns the new backend. After that? Same as now. You update shows, cast info, events. But it should be easier because TheatreCMS is made for that workflow.
That's something we'll figure out together at the 90-day mark. If you want me to keep maintaining it, we can work out terms. If you want to hand it off to someone on your team, I'll train them. TheatreCMS is designed to match your workflow, so managing it shouldn't be a burden. But we'll know more after 90 days.
Most CMSes have posts and pages. TheatreCMS is built on seasons, productions, works, people, and performances. A general-purpose CMS forces you to adapt your thinking to fit the tool. TheatreCMS matches how performing arts organizations already think about their work. Manage a performer once, they appear everywhere. Update work info and it flows to all related productions and performances automatically.
